HOW TO CULTIVATE
Bulbs should be placed in the soil 2-3 inches below the surface and spaced 12-18 inches apart from each other. The long
part of bulb must be placed horizontally in the ground. They have no bottom or top parts so there is no possibility to
make mistake. Cannas should be planted in ground by the and of April to mid-May.
To obtain healthy big bulbs and beautiful flowers in future the plant should grow in the soil min. 6 months but the best
results can be expected within 8-10 months. In countries where climate doesn't allow to cultivate these plants in the
ground for so long they should be planted in pots and transferred to the ground when there is no risk of frost. |
